He told me to check out the latest Perpetual Groove show at the Georgia Theatre which included two new ridiculously good tunes called “Violet Fang” and “Carry Me Home”, a monster 20 minute version of Green Tea, debut covers of Kanye West and Jay-Z and Death Cab For Cutie with former PGroove keyboardist John Hruby, and special guest Gary Paulo on sax for Walking Into Place.

Yesterday’s MP3 of The Day featured a soundboard matrix from Greensky Bluegrass’ 4/20 show in Portland, Oregon at the Roseland Theatre. While describing the band and the show, EB made references to The Infamous Stringdusters. Well it just so happens, the Stringdusters were in Portland the following night to perform at the Wonder Ballroom.
