MP3 OF THE DAY: Earphunk – Extended Play Volume 1

New Orleans funk phenoms Earphunk have announced plans for an extensive nationwide US tour in support of their latest release, Extended Play Volume 1. The band has released dates across the West Coast, Colorado and the Midwest in September. More dates across the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast will be announced in coming weeks leading up to the band’s appearance at the Bear Creek Music and Arts Festival.

 

The band has also extended the opportunity to download their most recent EP release, Extended Play Volume 1, until Sept. 6. Upon returning to New Orleans in November, the band will hit the studio to record material for a new EP and sophomore LP, to be released in 2013. Earphunk has also officially premiered the video for their song Drove today. Filmed live at One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans, LA, the song is the debut single off Extended Play Volume 1.
