NOLA’s own Papa Grows Funk helped to continue the 2012 Jazzfest festivities and late night music appreciation during their Bayou Rendezvous set at Howlin’ Wolf on May 4th, 2012. The band would bust out originals and team up with Bonerama horns later in the show. They’d even bring up Eric McFadden for a ripping encore of their recent title track release, Needle in The Groove.
