The Strangefolk reunion shows continued once again at this year’s Gathering of The Vibes Music Festival in Bridgeport, CT. It was the first time the four original members (Reid Genauer – Guitar/Vocals, John Trafton – Guitar/Vocals, Erik Glockler – Bass, and Luke Smith – Drums) played together at Vibes since 2000.
The band was slated with a prime time slot on the festival lineup and rewarded the fans with all the Strangefolk classics and quite a few stretched out over the ten minute mark. Fitting with all the Grateful Dead friendly performances slated on the Vibe Tribe bill, the New England quartet encored with the cover of “Touch of Grey” (watch the video of the cover below).
