Extraordinary Magnitude has released it’s first track ever which shakes up the classic Blackstreet tune “No Diggity”. The new electronic group featuring EB favorite Gramatik, along with Eric Mendelson, Drastiq, Buffalo Analog, and Illumntr, is set to drop a full debut album entitled Proportions this Summer on Lowtemp. The release will feature original instrumental material mashed up with No Diggity acapella. And its thought this could be more of the sound Gramatik will be going with since they are branching off with their own label. The duo are billing themselves as Grizmatik and this new track called “Digital Liberation is Mad Freedom” is a great fusion of Gramatik’s classic break beats and GRiZ’s drops. Yesterday we celebrated the 70th birthday of Paul McCartney with ten jamming Beatles/McCartney covers downloads. Today we come back with another twist on a Beatles selection, but this time it’s in hop-hop fashion from Gramatik. While some traditionalists may be a little skeptic to Beatles remixes, this version has the right pace and funky beat to make this remix one to keep.
