Today (March 21) marks the 29th anniversary of Pink Floyd releasing The Final Cut. Its twelfth studio album and its final one with Roger Waters. Some people see this as a sequel to The Wall as the material contains similar topics and ideologies, but this one is much heavier and darker.

Ten Videos To Celebrate Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour’s 66th Birthday!
Posted by jaybird | Filed under Videos

If you listen to the Endless Boundaries live radio show on Z889 Saturday nights or even check out the podcasts, you’d already know that Pink Floyd guitarist, David Gilmour, is my favorite guitarist of all time, not Trey Anastasio as most might think.
Gilmour might not be the most technical player out there, but his “feel” for solos and note placement are something you just can’t measure. Also the main reason I’m a Fender Stratocaster guy more then a Les Paul. So today, I raise my pint and present ten videos to wish a Happy 66th Birthday to David Gilmour!
