Yesterday, Strangefolk was asking their fans about thier favorite November moment in band’s history. The band then followed up the question by providing a matrix recording of their favorite moment. With multiple years to choose from, Strangefolk choose their show at Legends Lounge in Las Vegas on November 10th, 1999. If the band chose this show as their favorite of all things November, you know it has to be good. Besides, it’s vintage Strangefolk, it was already good to begin with.

This past week, Strangefolk was offering a free multi-track selection every day from their recent reunion show at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT on August 11th. The band was giving back to the fans in while building up momentum to their ticket on sale date for their last reunion shows of 2012 at newly re-opened Capitol Theater in Port Chester, NY on November 23rd and 24th.

The Strangefolk reunion shows continued once again at this year’s Gathering of The Vibes Music Festival in Bridgeport, CT. It was the first time the four original members (Reid Genauer – Guitar/Vocals, John Trafton – Guitar/Vocals, Erik Glockler – Bass, and Luke Smith – Drums) played together at Vibes since 2000.
