Today marks what would have been Jimi Hendrix’s 59th birthday. Johnny Allen Hendrix would enter this world on November 27th, 1942 in Seattle, WA only to have his name legally changed by his father, James Allen Hendrix, to James Marshall Hendrix in memory of Al’s late brother Leon Marshall Hendrix.
